How Our Dance Studio Got Started

Meet Brittany: A Visionary Dance Educator and Advocate for Balanced Growth

With over a decade of experience as a dance educator, Brittany brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to The Salt Flat. As a mother to two young boys, she understands the importance of creating a nurturing environment that balances intensive dance training with the joys of childhood.

After witnessing the evolving landscape of the dance industry and experiencing the transformative power of motherhood, Brittany felt compelled to make a change. She envisioned a home for dancers that would provide unparalleled training in a positive and encouraging space, while also allowing them the time to explore other enriching experiences.

Driven by her commitment to fostering well-rounded growth, Brittany founded The Salt Flat. Here, dancers of all abilities find a sanctuary where they can immerse themselves in exceptional training from a diverse range of teachers.

At The Salt Flat, dancers are not just students; they are part of a community that values inclusivity, acceptance, and personal growth. Brittany's dedication to creating a holistic dance experience ensures that dancers not only excel in their craft but also develop into well-rounded individuals who are equipped to navigate the world with grace and kindness.

“Human first. Dancer Second.

Always.

Every dancer needs to remember this. Being a good human is what makes you a good dancer. Being a humane educator will get you the healthiest results.”

Our Dance Studio Today

Today, our studio serves as a second home for many. It's a welcoming space where students find comfort among peers who feel like family, with supportive teachers guiding them every step of the way. Our studio is a hub of encouragement, growth, and inclusivity. We offer top-notch training in a family-friendly environment, prioritizing community over competition. We cherish positivity, teamwork, and lifting each other up. We believe we’re not just a cornerstone for dance education, but also take great pride and responsibility in playing a meaningful role in each dancer’s life.
